🌊 Lville Splash 2026: Official Rules
Welcome to the game. You have one target to splash, and one hunter tracking you. Stay dry, stay smart, and play fair.
The Fundamentals
- Identify Your Target: Log in to lville-splash.com to see who you're hunting.
- Splashing: To splash your target, spray them with water from your purchased bottle. If the water hits clothing, a backpack, or an accessory, it counts as a successful splash.
- Eliminations: Once you are splashed, you must surrender your Splash Code (found on the website) to your hunter immediately.
- Gear: Only official Splash bottles and blasters are permitted. Stealing, grabbing, or blocking another player's equipment is strictly prohibited and may result in DQ. Similarly, stealing/withholding a student's property or using physical force may also result in a disqualification.
Safe Zones & "No-Splash" Rules
Splashing is strictly prohibited in the following areas and scenarios:
- Indoors: No splashing inside any building or within 5 feet of any campus door (not including car doors).
- Academic & Official Events: Including but not limited to community service, performing arts, campus tours, classes, house events, house climbs, athletic practices/games (during coach-set hours), and religious services.
- If en route to a commitment, a player is still able to be splashed.
- If students are attending class outside, they are immune from being splashed and cannot splash anyone themselves.
- If waiting by a bus for athletic/community service transportation, a player is immune from being splashed.
- Restricted Areas: Construction zones, Main Street, and faculty housing.
- Conduct: Running indoors or splashing non-participants/wrong targets may result in a DQ.
- During Splash Pauses (will be announced via email and on website).
Game Rounds
- Main Round: Standard gameplay. No time constraints on eliminations.
- 24-Hour Rounds (May 7–May 13): If you don't eliminate your target within 24 hours, you are out. (Note: Sunday, May 10 is excluded).
- The Finale: A 1v1 tournament at the Bowl (or Turf) on Saturday, May 16th at 1:30 PM.

Ability Codes
Ability Codes are hidden across campus. Enter them on the website to unlock:
- Immunity: Grants a 24-hour window of protection.
- These codes grant the user a short period (24 hours) of immunity. If the user is splashed while immune, they must give their code to their hunter. Upon entering it, the hunter will receive a new target and the user will remain in the game.
- Immunity expires after 24 hours OR immediately after you are splashed, whichever comes first.
- You must activate the code on the website before the splash occurs. You cannot retroactively use immunity after being splashed.
- You are allowed to lie and claim you have immunity to deter hunters. However, if you are bluffing and get splashed, you are eliminated as normal.
- Revival: This code allows you to revive yourself or a friend. It can be used after you are eliminated from the game.
- Target Swap: This code will allow you to switch either the person who has you as their target or who your target is.
Code of Conduct & Disqualifications
If a player is missing commitments/breaking school rules*, faculty or students can email Splash Ops to DQ that player from Splash (please email all of us). If a player is caught cheating, exchanging money, or deliberately misleading an adult, those are grounds for immediate and permanent disqualification. DQs are immediate and not debatable. Dean Olson will manage any disqualifications in dispute.
*This includes running indoors, splashing someone who is not your target, splashing someone who is not playing the game, or splashing someone who is participating in a mandated departmentally-driven event, like a community service event, a performing arts event, an athletic practice, a campus tour, or religious service.
